just listed 2 of the 4 templates in my shop...will be listing like a wild banshee tomorrow (after the little girls dr. appt)
go here to see my shop and buy things!
these are the 4 i have so far that are ready to post :) the process is a little more time consuming for sure but the extra 'tweaks' are worth it i think...i'm doing a little 'walk through' below and i'll be listing what 'comes' in each template (any items that i 'drew' by hand i'll asterisk, the elements not marked with an asterisk are computer generated)
overview: one of the big differences this go round is that the transparencies are printed. it's just more economical for me and it's more functional for you because they're completely see through (the old version was made using stencil paper...translucent but not transparent). i have an original template that i'll be using to pierce the holes in all of the templates as they're sold. so, they'll be 'made to order'. this will affect the ship dates a tad because well, life happens, but i'll be busting them out as fast as i can, promise :)
speaking of piercing each template...this means that each one will be imperfect. to me, that's the beauty of 'handstitched' elements...they're human. the imperfection makes it perfect. something i hear really often about my stitching is, 'it's so perfect and evenly spaced, how do you do it?' so here it is...it's *never* perfect. not even close. the stitches are unevenly spaced and out of alignment *alot*. my theory is that everyone else's work always looks 'more even and more aligned' sort of a, 'the grass is always greener' type thing. i'm saying this because i pierced each template the same way i pierce on my projects...i stitched samples using the templates because just like on my personal projects, the stitches aren't perfect. so here's my disclaimer...i'm kinsey wilson. i only handstitch. and it's never ever ever perfect. therefore, the templates i make, won't be perfect either. :)
here are some pics of the demos i stitched...
we'll start with the autumn/winter...(the far left)
this one has stars (2 sizes,1 lg. asterisk), *loopy lines, *mini snowflakes (2 sizes of sm. snowflakes and multiple flurries), *leaves (2 types), overlapped words (autumn & winter), big snowflakes (2 types/sizes).
spring/summer:
*clouds (2 sizes), banners (triangle & round), *flowers (3 types), *frame, butterflies (3 sizes), overlapping words (spring & summer)
alphanumeric:
full alphabet a-z, punctuation {}();?!&*, 0-9 (the 6 will serve as the 9- it's the same upside down)
basics:
borders: zig zag stitch, 1 inch scallop, 3 inch scallop, *loopy line, straight stitch
rounded corner square: this is awesome for doing borders around pages because you can combine the straight stitch and add the corner section from these...loves it! there are 5 sizes that graduate by 1/2 inch increments (1 inch, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3)
squares: same deal as the rounded corner...5 sizes (from 1 inch to 3 inches in 1/2 inch increments)
circles: 11 sizes (from 1 inch to 3.5 inches, these are graduated in 1/4 inch increments)
i'm still working out the listing details. figuring out pricing. shipping. the time involved. oh my! so i'll do a post here as soon as the listing process is underway :) i also have a *ton* of kits that i'll be listing as well. each kit is different and 'hand picked & coordinated'...lots of love going into this process so it's taking way more time than i thought. i'll probably start listing the templates first, as i have little windows of time :) the kits will be posted here and there (lots of photos and editing involved there).
thanks so so so much for the input and feedback...it's priceless!
so now i'm off to watch some survivor :) yay! have a good night y'all!

for diana...i got a sweet comment from her tonight and thought it'd be fun to show the 'flip side' of my stitching :) so here are a few pics of the backside (hehehe) of the basics demo...not super messy, i hope, lol. i use scotch tape to 'tie off' my stitches (it's just way easier for me) so that should explain the tape situation, haha!
this was so funny for me...showing the back of my stitching...kind of like wearing your undies on the outside, lol. made me giggle :) thanks diana!
