i'll admit, i tried for a while there to resist the mist but alas...i am weak. and they are strong. mister huey, you win...so, that being said- i was totally inspired by lisa's booth layout and knew that i needed to step outside of my 1 mist color per page...so i used 7 colors here...
i used a masking technique here to separate the blocks of color and then used matching embroidery floss to add a little definition...the patterned strips are pieces of label stickers, the bottom strips off of a couple of sc patterned papers, washi tape and lace tape.
the journaling and title are combined here (this is something new for me- first timer) so the title is: there's some crazy shennanigans going on around here' and the journaling reads:
'THERE'S nobody more fun than 'unklint'...you guys make quite the two-SOME...y'all have such a CRAZY good time together and...the SHENNANIGANS just don't stop...but i'm not gonna lie, they keep my camera GOING...i hope the bONd between you 2 continues to grow...'cuz AROUND the time things start to get heavy...your uncle klint is tHERE for you always.'
(the words in caps are title words)
in other news, i got a silhouette in the mail today and i'm gonna go play!
hugs, kins
***edited to add: the list of mists in order from top to bottom...(all of them are mister huey's by studio calico) clover, applejack, bluegrass, bonny blue, lunch tray, barnwood and warm calico.***
